France is still the most visited
France is still the most visited tourist destinations in the world, making it a year visiting nearly 82 million foreigners.
According to the 2007 to 2008, the country visited four percent more tourists, the tourists are divided on transit, which was 14 million, and those which France was the final destination (68 million).
Europeans constitute the main piece of cake, with most Britons, Belgians and Germans. The number of the latter is much reduced, but was replaced with the visitors from Switzerland, Italy, Portugal and Spain. The number of American tourists has increased by seven percent, and the visit at the end of the year due to weak dollar started to decline.
Europeans in France, on average, spend a little less than six days, Americans eight days, and Japanese five days.
