France offers a temperate climate which varies with each region like the southern Atlantic region a pleasant day time temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit which stays for February to November. The temperature goes higher than 95 degrees in the months of July and august. France weather offers very nice environment for all the recreational outdoor activities. A maritime climate is enjoyed by the north and the northwest part of France with the graciousness of the long coastline which is blessed with mild winters and warm summers, where the rainfall is more frequent around 180 days a year.

The interior part of the country is marked with hotter summers and more scrupulous winter with rainfalls on just few days of the year. The southwestern part of France is covered with a placid climate, but the heated summers are bragged with only some of the periodic rain storms. The mid part of France with the eastern part enjoys the colder winters than the north part but also they tend to have warmer summers. There are infrequent thunderstorms found in hot summers at the Mediterranean coast of France which possess mild but often sunny winters.

As the rise in altitude increases the temperature, the mountainous area affects the France weather which is marked with the cold winters which are wet with lots of snow. The summers are characterized as mild, sunny and changeable. Precipitation tends to increase with the increase in distance from the ground which occurs in the form of snow with the coming up of winters. Many of the villages which are situated in the higher valleys every year enjoy more than 50 days of snow.

Time to visit

The most suitable period to visit France depending on the processing of planning a visit. In summer, the most visited place is coast, especially Mediterranean and the mountains - the Pyrenees and Alps. Northern parts of the France have ocean climate (as in England), with short winters and warm summers, precipitation is evenly distributed throughout the year. The best time to visit the continental part is at the spring and autumn. Weather has been nice and warm during this time, there are not many tourists, and consequently the prices are somewhat lower, and reservations are not necessary.
